JOB RESPONSIBILITES
You will be a member of a small team responsible for maintaining the source code repository, integrating new code into branches as required, performing software builds, and packaging the resulting builds for release. You may work closely with engineering, product management, QA, tech pubs, and customer support during various phases of the release cycle. Your strong technical abilities, and skills at understanding complex systems will contribute to a successful release engineering team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of experience
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical field
- Experience using a source code change management package (Perforce preferred)
- Development experience in C (or C++)
- Experience which reflects the entire software process life cycle (develop, build, package, test and release)
- A strong UNIX background
- Experience with perl and sh
CHARACTERISITCS
- Must have strong communication (oral and written) skills
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Self-starter, able to work in a fast paced team environment
