Associate Vice President for Information Technology
Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The Associate Vice President for Information Technology is responsible for the University's policy and planning related to information technology infrastructure and support services. The position provides leadership in all aspects of information technology involving academic and administrative computing, the academic and administrative computer centers, audio visual services, distance learning, central computing services, telephone, networking and telecommunications, and user support services. Budget, personnel, strategic planning and policy development as related to information technology are responsibilities of the position.

The Associate Vice President for Information Technology is the chief technology officer (CTO) and provides primary consultation to the executive officers of the University in all technology related matters. He is an advocate for the development and use of information technology in instruction and instructional support, and provides a vision and unified direction for the use of technologywithin the University's strategic plan.
